Job summary

Madigan Gill is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical packages on a student accommodation development in Ealing. You will coordinate M&E works from design through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, programme and quality standards.

Key duties include managing M&E subcontractors on site, coordinating with construction, design and fit-out teams, reviewing drawings and technical submissions, handling RFIs, tracking progress, overseeing

Qualifications

Experience as an M&E/MEP Manager on student accommodation or similar.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors through installation and commissioning.
Good understanding of construction sequencing and M&E coordination.
SMSTS and CSCS qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site.
Coordinate M&E works with the construction, design and fit-out teams.
Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
Manage RFIs and resolve design and coordination issues.
Monitor M&E progress against the construction programme.
Oversee quality inspections, benchmarks, snagging and close-out.
Ensure works comply with relevant specifications, Building Regulations and H&S requirements.
Manage testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
Coordinate O&M manuals, as-built information and handover documentation.
Report progress, risks and key issues to the Project Manager/Director.
