Job summary

Leeds Trinity University is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, safety and performance of our Leeds City Centre campus. The role focuses on Mechanical or Electrical expertise, ownership of a modern building, and delivering an exceptional environment for students and staff.

You will lead planned and reactive M&E maintenance, manage inspections and compliance, oversee contractors, keep CAFM up to date and assist with small projects and campus

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Experience in fast-paced estates/facilities environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience managing contractors and life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned and reactive M&E maintenance across the campus.
• Oversee inspections, testing, servicing and compliance.
• Review RAMS and issue permits to work.
• Keep CAFM systems updated.
• Support campus operations and small projects.
• Be main point of contact for facilities issues and visitors.
