Job summary

ORONA is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join the Glasgow team, delivering high-quality lift installations across regional sites. You will oversee safe and efficient installation of new lift systems and work closely with Contract Managers, Site Managers and clients.

You will lead Installation Mates, Improvers or Apprentices, coaching and guiding the team from pre-installation through commissioning while upholding Health, Safety and Environmental standards and reporting progress

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation or equivalent.
LEIA Units (Lift Technology) as appropriate to level.
SSSTS or equivalent (for Senior / Lead roles).
CSCS certification or ability to obtain.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Review installation packs, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Survey and set out lift shafts prior to installation.
Manage delivery checks and report shortages.
Build strong working relationships with site teams and clients.
Install hydraulic, traction and MRL lift systems to standards and ensure readiness for testing.
Supervise and develop Installation Mates, Improvers or Apprentices; provide coaching and feedback.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and enforce PPE use.
Maintain company van, tools and equipment; complete timesheets and installation reports.
