Job summary

Ultrapharm bakery in Pontypool, part of the Finsbury Food Group, is hiring an Advanced Team Leader to support safe, high-quality, efficient production. You will lead a team on a gluten-free line, coach staff, and ensure daily targets are met with a focus on Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the Manufacturing Shift Lead on labour management, training, and maintaining health, food safety and quality standards, with many development opportunities within the

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable.
• Willingness to achieve Level 2 Food Safety and IOSH Supervising Safely.
• FDQ Level 2 Diploma for Proficiency in Food Industry Team Leading required with company support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the team to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People targets.
• Coach and develop colleagues; support new starter training.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Shift Lead to manage labour and production plans.
• Use Leader Standard Work and participate in Short Interval Control meetings.
• Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards on the shop floor.
