Job summary
Nexus Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled MS Method Development Lead to drive development and validation of LCMSMS bioanalytical methods under GxP standards in a cutting-edge lab. You will lead a team of scientists, optimise extraction techniques and chromatography, ensure GLP/SOP compliance, and support regulatory submissions.
The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field.
- 4+ years in a GxP laboratory with 2+ years in management.
- Expertise in HPLC, UPLC, LCMSMS and chromatography data systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Knowledge of protein precipitation, SPE, and Liquid-Liquid extraction techniques.
- Understanding of regulatory and GLP requirements.
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead method development and validation as SME.
- Optimize extraction techniques and chromatography methods.
- Mentor the Method Development & Validation team.
- Ensure GLP compliance and SOP adherence.
- Support regulatory submissions and resolve queries.
- Drive continuous improvement and CAPAs.
- Oversee cost-effective lab operations and consumables.
- Transfer validated methods to analytical teams.
- Lead team meetings and staff development sessions.
