Senior Sous Chef | Glasgow Central Area | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, drive restaurant performance, and deliver excellent results.

What You Need To Do:

  • Create a caring and inclusive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, recruit effectively, and support ongoing team development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards in food safety and health standards.
  • Financial understanding of kitchen operations, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
