Job summary

Mastek is delivering a high-profile UK biometric capability programme. As a Java Full Stack Developer you will design and build cloud-native applications using modern tech, within a multi-vendor team sharing code.

You will work across the SDLC, adapting quickly and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of components. You will lead and mentor developers, perform code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions while delivering on sprint timelines in an Agile

Qualifications

• Extensive server-side Java 8+ development experience with Spring, Spring Boot & Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Microservice architecture and RESTful services.
• Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, PowerMockito & Wiremock.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native Java applications, APIs and microservices.
• Lead a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components and ensure seamless delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions and advocate for best patterns.
