The Role: Lead AWS Cloud Engineer (Hands-on Java (8 - 17) a must)

Experience: Min 12+ years

Looking for someone with strong AWS experience, including expertise in AWS S3, Advanced Transfer Protocols, EKS clusters, and EC2 images. The candidate must have a minimum of Java 17.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Engage with senior stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
2. Work autonomously in a high-trust environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
3. Contribute proactively to enhancing our Java 17 applications.
4. Develop and execute unit, component, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests.
5. Understand streaming in Java and leverage it with AWS services.
6. Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
7. Implement various architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven, CQRS, hexagonal, and cloud-native.
8. Deep understanding of AWS cloud solutions.
9. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
10. Relational database skills, particularly with Postgres.
11. Proficiency in using Kafka as a message broker.
12. Nurture, guide, and mentor junior team members.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Java 21.
2. Experience with Cloud Migration strategies.
3. Experience with Kafka Streaming.
4. Experience with ArgoCD.
