Job summary

Culina Group in Warrington is seeking an experienced Lead IT Project Manager to lead and develop a team of Project Managers while overseeing a diverse portfolio of IT and business transformation projects.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to manage resource planning, portfolio governance, and delivery standards, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget while aligning with PMO practices and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing Project Managers.
• Strong resource planning and capacity management.
• Excellent governance, risk management and delivery assurance.
• Experience across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data or digital transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management with Director/Executive influence.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers.
• Oversee resource planning and capacity across initiatives.
• Provide governance and delivery oversight for IT projects.
• Monitor performance, budgets, risks, dependencies and milestones.
• Support and coach Project Managers to resolve delivery challenges.
• Produce portfolio reporting for senior leadership and executives.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices and methodologies.
• Manage supplier and third-party relationships as required.
• Influence and support business and technology transformation at senior levels.
• Ensure alignment with PMO standards and governance.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Lead IT Project Manager to lead and develop a team of Project Managers while overseeing the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT and business transformation projects.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll be responsible for resource planning, portfolio oversight, project governance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers.
• Manage project management resource planning, capacity and allocation across multiple initiatives.
• Provide oversight of IT projects and programmes, ensuring effective governance and delivery.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, dependencies and key milestones.
• Support and coach Project Managers in resolving delivery challenges.
• Produce portfolio reporting for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices, standards and methodologies.
• Manage supplier and third-party relationships where required.
