Job summary

Culina Group, a leading UK logistics provider, seeks an IT Programme Manager to lead complex, multi-site IT programmes focused on warehousing and logistics technologies across the Ambient division. You will ensure programmes are prioritised, governed, delivered on time, and aligned to business objectives.

You will mentor project managers, manage budgets, and maintain strong communication with senior leadership while driving continuous improvement and strategic supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale IT programmes within logistics, supply chain, or warehousing environments.
• Senior leadership experience mentoring Project Managers and developing delivery capability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including at C-suite level.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise, plan, and deliver major IT programmes across warehousing and logistics.
• Operate within PMO governance framework including PID creation, RAID management, reporting, and gate reviews.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams with direction, coaching, and escalation support.
• Manage programme budgets, resources, forecasts and financial performance.
• Maintain communication with senior leadership (CXO/MD/Director level).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Report progress and status to the Senior Management Team through structured updates.
• Oversee supplier engagement and foster strategic partner relationships.
• Ensure change management and operational readiness activities are embedded into programme delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to deliver real business value.

As a leading third-party logistics provider, Culina Group recognises that Information Technology is critical to our strategy and operational excellence.The IT Programme Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, multi-site IT programmes — with a specific focus on warehousing and logistics technologies across the Ambient division. Key Responsibilities of the IT Programme Manager

• Ensure prioritisation, planning, and successful delivery of major IT programmes across warehousing and logistics

• Proven track record delivering large-scale IT programmes within logistics, supply chain, or warehousing environments
• Strong adaptability — able to work across multiple sites and respond quickly to shifting priorities
• Senior leadership experience mentoring Project Managers and developing delivery capability
• High proficiency in Project Management applications and PPM tools (e.g., Planview, Clarizen)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including at C-suite level
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and Waterfall
• Excellent problem solving capability, able to develop innovative and practical solutions-solving capability, able to develop innovative and practical solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills and relation shipbuilding ability across technical and nontechnical teams-building ability across technical and non-technical teams
• Desirable: Experience in third party logistics, Agile certifications (PRINCE2, Agile), MSP Experience with Jira, BDD, DevOps or Agile Testing practices Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience ITIL 4
