Job summary

Asda is seeking an experienced IT Hardware Asset Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets. You will drive governance, controls and data quality while leading the adoption of HAM Pro across a large technology estate.

Working with Technology, Service Management, Finance, Procurement and partners, you will improve asset visibility and maximise value from investments. On-site three days per week at Asda House in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Hardware/IT Asset Management.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Strong hardware lifecycle governance.
• Experience improving processes and data quality.
• Audit, compliance and risk experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
• Experience with HAM Pro or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Owning the end to end lifecycle of IT hardware assets across the business.
• Driving improvements in asset governance, controls and compliance.
• Leading the adoption and optimisation of ServiceNow HAM Pro.
• Ensuring accurate and auditable asset records across multiple systems.
• Managing inventory, stockrooms, asset refresh programmes and lifecycle planning.
• Improving asset data quality and reconciliation across ServiceNow, CMDB, Procurement and Finance systems.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs through improved asset utilisation and reuse.
• Producing reporting and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to embed best practice.
• Providing day-to-day oversight of third-party asset management support resources.
