Job summary

The UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher to lead projects on human naïve pluripotency. The role focuses on cutting‑edge experiments, data analysis, publication preparation and sharing findings with the lab and external meetings.

You will train others, contribute to group discussions, and explore new techniques and collaborations while maintaining high standards of scientific integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant biological subject.
• Significant postdoctoral research experience in human embryonic stem cells and human pluripotency.
• Experience of and proven ability to perform techniques relevant to the project, and knowledge of the field.
• Particularly useful would be experience of: human embryonic stem cell culture, analysis of gene expression, bioinformatic knowledge, lab organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more projects within an overall programme on the study of human naïve pluripotency.
• Conduct research, analyse data and prepare work for publication.
• Disseminate research results and train others within the group.
• Identify opportunities for IP and external funding and collaborate with others as needed.
• Write scientific papers and present at seminars and conferences.
