Job summary

CloudPay is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our Integrations Team. You will oversee design, development and maintenance of integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow with client and partner systems.

You have 5+ years in software development with integrations and APIs, and at least 2 years in people leadership. This role offers a UK-based hybrid working arrangement and a strong focus on delivering scalable, secure, reliable integrations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software development with a focus on integrations and APIs.
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols (REST, SOAP, SFTP, EDI).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, C#, Python, Go).
• Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers focused on integration solutions.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle for integration projects.
• Collaborate with product management and architects to define specs and timelines.
• Promote best practices: code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of integrations.
• Provide technical guidance on integration technologies and patterns.
