CloudPay Technology Limited is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead the Integrations Team in the UK. You will oversee design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions, ensuring secure data flow with client and partner systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD practices, and collaborate with product management and architects to deliver scalable, reliable integrations across cloud platforms. A strong background in REST/SOAP APIs and modern languages is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with a significant focus on integrations and APIs.
• Demonstrable experience (2+ years) in a leadership or management role, leading a team of software engineers.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols (REST, SOAP, SFTP, EDI), and technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language relevant to integration development (Java, C#, Python, Go).
• Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (AWS/Azure/Google) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers focused on integration solutions.
• Oversee the SDLC for integration projects from design to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and other teams to define technical specs and timelines.
• Drive best practices in software development, including CI/CD and documentation.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of integrations.
• Serve as a technical SME for integration technologies and patterns.
• Manage team performance and professional development.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
