Job summary

Saab UK, Fareham, is seeking an Integration Team Lead to manage the assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics systems. You will lead a production team, ensure timely delivery, and support offshore commissioning and customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires prior team leadership experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of fibre optic termination and testing. Based in Fareham with opportunities to travel offshore as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous team leadership experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a fast-paced production area and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge in fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment in line with the configuration document.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities, including offsite/offshore work as required.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and in-line with delivery schedules while maintaining high quality.
• Support customer requirements and provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as needed.
• Promote 6S and health & safety practices and maintain professional interdepartmental relationships.
