About The Role

Lead Instructor – Military Diving

Location: Portsmouth

Type: Permanent

Operating worldwide, the company is the world’s leading provider of submarine rescue capability and an established provider of submarine escape training. It is at the forefront of Hyperbaric Rescue and is a leading supplier of diving equipment and saturation diving systems.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct JFD product and service training within the approved training program.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies to safeguard personnel and equipment.
  • Participate as part of the JFD dive team and operate JFD equipment as required.
  • Maintain diving governance documentation for activities and equipment supporting MD training courses.
  • Follow the JFD Diving Safety Management Plan (DSMP).
Skills & Experience
  • Competent Military Diver and Diving Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of UK Military Diving & Maintenance procedures.
  • Experience as a Military Diving Instructor.
  • Preferably a Military Diver (Mixed Gas) and experienced in diving equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Experience in military diving, especially with Royal Navy backgrounds, is advantageous.
  • Based in Portsmouth with potential travel to other sites.
