Job description

At DSUK, we believe that teaching disabled people to master the slopes can transform their experience of their disability. We challenge the view that snowsports are only for the wealthy, advocating for equal access to the physical, mental, and social benefits of snowsport. We run adaptive snowsport schools and ski clubs at snow centers and dry slopes across the UK, while also organizing trips to mountain resorts. Our team of qualified instructors and dedicated volunteers build a community where everyone can enjoy snowsports and forge new friendships. DSUK is committed to making snowsports accessible to all through local volunteer-led groups and tailor-made accessible holidays.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Instructor located in London. The Lead Instructor will be responsible for overseeing and conducting adaptive snowsport lessons, managing a team of instructors and volunteers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality training. The role involves helping to develop and implement training programs, assessing individual needs of participants, providing support and mentorship to instructors, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. The Lead Instructor will also help maintain equipment, and liaise with participants and their families.
