FloPlast is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead a small team of maintenance engineers in our UK site. You will drive machine availability, implement preventive maintenance, and oversee Lean improvements across the injection moulding department.
The role requires an apprentice-trained or professionally qualified engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills and a proactive, hands-on leadership style. Monday–Friday, dayshift, with a paid break and clear career progression.
Competenze
- Apprentice served or professionally qualified engineer/technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background.
- Experience leading maintenance teams and Lean manufacturing exposure.
Mansioni
- Supervise a small team of maintenance engineers and ensure machine availability.
- Provide direction, support and mentorship to the team.
- Carry out maintenance in line with health, safety and quality procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and record activities in the Agility system.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
- Support projects and capital expenditure within the dept.
