Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer for a busy UK manufacturing site. The role combines electrical engineering expertise with mechanical maintenance to keep injection moulding machinery running smoothly and safely.

You will lead electrical fault finding, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across production and engineering teams to boost equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering knowledge in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience maintaining injection moulding machinery.
• Mechanical maintenance support for electrical fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair injection moulding machines and related equipment.
• Provide electrical fault-finding and repair support across production machinery.
• Support production teams to ensure machines operate efficiently and meet performance targets.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Support engineering and manufacturing improvement projects to enhance machine performance.
