Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Controls Manager to deliver controls across major infrastructure projects in London. The role will lead the programme controls function, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety and performance reporting, and optimal use of controls resources.

Responsibilities include reviewing proposals, identifying and resolving resourcing issues, and maintaining governance for the Investment Plan in line with GRIP and the Programme Controller's direction.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control and analysis, in field and home office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office for engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up processes.

Responsibilities

• Review new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resourced plans for delivery.
• Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning to resolve issues.
• Provide efficient day-to-day reporting support to Programme/Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and performance.
• Ensure data input by project teams to cost and performance systems meets standards.
• Manage production of the Investment Plan and ensure compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
