Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its Public Cloud Engineering organization in the EMEA region by establishing a new Identity and Access Management team. You will shape system‑level design, lead platform services, and drive engineering excellence across identity domains on cloud infrastructure.

You will work in an agile environment, partner with global engineering teams, and coach others to grow capability while delivering secure, scalable solutions with reliable developer experience.

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Experience with IAM platforms, RBAC, or entitlement governance at scale.
• Proficiency in multiple languages/frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Automation and continuous delivery expertise.
• Awareness of agile practices, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Ability to align engineering decisions with user and business outcomes.
• Clear communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Responsible use of approved AI tooling with quality and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of platform services and infrastructure with focus on architecture, integration patterns, and reliability.
• Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high‑quality production code across origins.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability across applications.
• Lead design reviews and architecture discussions to ensure scalable delivery and quality.
• Partner with platform architecture, trust, and IAM teams to align designs across teams.
• Foster communities of practice to raise awareness of new technologies.
• Mentor engineers through hands‑on guidance and coaching.
• Promote a diverse, inclusive team culture focused on growth and learning.
