Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Security Engineer III to join the Cloud and Infrastructure team. You will design, implement, and operate secure solutions for an enterprise-scale environment, ensuring compliance with security and governance controls.

You’ll work as a core technical contributor across Windows and Linux, with IaC, CI/CD, and automation, collaborating with stakeholders to reduce risk while delivering business value in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Experience with cloud engineering, deployment engineering, DevOps engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability deploying commercial software at scale in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for an enterprise-scale environment.
• Understand the functions of systems engineering, systems integrations, and systems administration roles.
• Execute on key deliverables in the security engineering space.
• Develop secure and high-quality production code and review code written by others.
• Implement complex business logic in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
• Engage effectively with third-party vendors and internal teams.
• Minimize security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and regulations and evolving controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and propose changes during vulnerabilities.
