Progressive Recruitment seeks a Lead Secondary Engineer in Glasgow to lead a skilled team on HV substation projects for SSEN & SPEN. You will oversee project/tender engineering, design packages, and interface management to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role involves leading design packages, conducting DRMs/HRMs, coordinating with suppliers, and delivering As-Built documentation. Hybrid working with site presence as required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive years of substation engineering experience in utilities.
• Experience on greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Knowledge of SSEN & SPEN requirements and standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead all secondary engineering activities from project start to As-Built with QA/QC & HSSE adherence.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners, suppliers and other engineers (local & remote).
• Review P&C design packages per NG/ET/SR188 and ensure design changes follow change management processes.
• Attend Design Review and Hazard Review meetings; certify design packages and issue DCAAR.
