Job summary

Timely Recruit Ltd is hiring a Lead HV Design Engineer to join a major UK multi-utility group in Surrey. You will lead engineers, review and design high-voltage networks up to 132 kV, and shape the grid connections strategy across electricity and related utilities.

This hybrid role offers 2–3 days in the office, a clear progression path, and exposure to WinDebut, IPSA and VisNet tools. Ideal candidates will have a background in DNO/IDNO or utility consultancy and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Experience designing HV networks up to 132 kV.
• Proven leadership/management capability.
• Background in DNO/IDNO or utility consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and review and design HV networks up to 132 kV.
• Collaborate with multi-utility teams across electricity, gas, water and EV infra.
• Support hybrid working model with regular in-office presence.
