Job summary

H&MV Engineering is seeking a Lead HSE Advisor to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across our Data Centre, Renewable and Utilities projects in Scotland and the North of England.

You will lead HSEQ initiatives, conduct audits, review risk assessments, and support pre-qualification processes while collaborating with project teams and Board-level stakeholders to drive a safer, more sustainable project culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of HSEQ experience on live construction sites.
• Proven ability to drive continuous safety improvement.
• Recognised safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive safety and health advisory services to project teams.
• Support pre-qualification across health, safety, environment and quality aspects of bids.
• Monitor site compliance and procedures in line with company policies.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and POWRA.
• Conduct HSEQ audits and investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with leadership to define safety initiatives and plans.
