Job summary

Moore Green Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Manager Compliance in Ipswich to lead a safety and compliance team responsible for ensuring Council homes meet regulatory standards and remain safe at all times.

The role covers oversight of the 'big 9' safety items, monitoring HHSRS findings, and ensuring compliance with Awaab's Law and Decent Homes, with a focus on continuous improvement and budget management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a comparable environment.
• A degree qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional organisation.
• Experience of managing staff and budgets.
• Experience of regulatory requirements for maintaining safe homes.
• Experience in business planning and change management.
• Experience and/or qualifications in Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Responsible Manager and lead Officer ensuring Council homes are compliant and remain safe.
• Oversee compliance of landlord's core safety areas and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Monitor hazards from stock condition surveys and ensure compliance with Decent Homes requirements.
• Lead a safety and compliance team and manage budgets and resources.
