Hamberley Care Homes at Cambridge Grove in Cambridge is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, delivering clean, homely surroundings and ensuring high standards of laundry and domestic services for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.

Responsibilities

• You'll help to create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to delivering quality care and support. Leading a team of housekeeping staff you'll ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards
• Ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms
• Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings
• Managing staff rota, training and supervisions to ensure housekeeping team members are working efficiently.
• Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease
• Working closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations
