Job summary

Hamberley Care Homes at Cambridge Grove is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in a luxury care home for residents requiring residential, dementia, and nursing care. You will ensure all rooms and spaces are meticulously clean and well-maintained while coordinating laundry and staff rotas.

The role emphasizes empathy, customer care, COSHH awareness, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to uphold our premium service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
• Flexible and reliable attitude.
• Committed to customer care and first-class service provision.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference to residents.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

You’ll help to create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to delivering quality care and support. Leading a team of housekeeping staff you’ll ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings

Joining us at Cambridge Grove, our luxury care home that provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people, you’ll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of our residents.

Our Housekeeping team ensure the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home and contribute to the provision of cleaning, laundry and domestic services to the home.
