Job summary

Highwood Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Head Housekeeper to oversee cleanliness, presentation and organisation across the home. You will lead the housekeeping team, manage daily operations, and ensure high hygiene standards are met, including infection control.

The role requires coordinating with other departments and may involve weekend work. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.71, with a 36-hour week, paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks of

• Experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain hygiene and presentation.

• Monitor quality, manage supplies and provide training and leadership to the team.
• Ensure staffing covers alternate weekends as required.
