Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes.

You will plan rosters, supervise laundry, manage supplies, and uphold infection control and health & safety standards to keep residents safe and comfortable. With a friendly, positive approach you’ll coach the team, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure safeguarding of residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and leading a team.
• Organised, with strong Health & Safety and infection control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Managing the cleaning rota and daily schedules.
• Leading by example and supporting your team.
• Overseeing laundry for personal and shared items.
• Ordering cleaning products and supplies.
• Following and updating infection control procedures.
• Keeping records and completing cleaning checks.
• Ensuring safety and COSHH guidelines are met.
