Job summary

Wigan & Leigh Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice in Your Home Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the Home-care service, ensuring safe, compassionate care in patients' homes. The role requires coordinating delivery, staffing and resources while upholding hospice values and policies.

The post emphasises staff development, driving and organisational leadership, with a 37-hour week and a focus on quality patient care within the community.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or above in health and social care.
• Postgraduate leadership/management qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service delivery, manage caseload and staffing resources.
• Support staff and volunteers and promote team working.
• Ensure the service operates in line with Hospice values, policies and priorities.
