Job summary

Caremark (Mid-Surrey) in Leatherhead is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service. You will ensure safe, compliant delivery of person-centred home care for adults, older people and those with disabilities, with a focus on quality outcomes and team leadership.

The role requires strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and MCA, plus a valid UK driving licence for local travel.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary/home care.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and Mental Capacity Act.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Acting as the CQC Registered Manager and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Leading day-to-day operations: quality assurance, governance, safeguarding and audits.
Recruiting, training, supervising and developing Care Workers and office staff.
Overseeing client assessments, care planning and reviews.
Matching Care Workers to clients based on needs, culture and location.
Building relationships with clients, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
Driving service growth and maintaining high occupancy of care hours.
Managing complaints and incidents; supporting continuous improvement.
Participating in on-call arrangements as required.
