Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ultralinq HL7 Reporting Project Lead to deliver a crucial digital reporting programme within the Imaging & Reporting portfolio. You will drive end-to-end HL7-based reporting, integrating Ultralinq with PAS and Trust systems via Mirth Integration Engine.

The role requires strong technical leadership, clinical safety focus, and operational readiness to support go-live and stabilisation in a fast-paced NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with HL7 v2 messaging and healthcare integration projects.
• Strong leadership of multi-disciplinary teams delivering middleware-driven integrations.
• Knowledge of clinical safety, IG and security frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing and observability in health IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of HL7-based reporting initiatives within Imaging & Reporting portfolio.
• Oversee HL7 v2 ORU messaging, Mirth channel design and downstream integrations.
• Define testing strategy and clinical safety case; ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
