Job summary

Calibre Search in Leeds is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead highways and drainage projects from feasibility through to construction, combining hands-on design with project leadership.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, local authorities and statutory bodies, while maintaining quality, schedule and budget on a growing portfolio of infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Leading highways and drainage infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
• Producing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
• Coordinating clients, local authorities, utilities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical oversight of drawings/calculations.
• Working towards, or holding, IEng or CEng status.

Responsibilities

• Lead schemes from feasibility through to construction with hands-on design and project leadership.
• Review designs and guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, local authorities, and utilities; manage technical approvals.
