Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a High Voltage Design Engineer in Shropshire to take ownership of complex HV projects across the full lifecycle. You will design, develop, test and produce HV power supplies and systems, and provide technical leadership within a skilled team from concept through to manufacture.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronics or Power Electronics engineering background.
• Strong experience designing HV power supplies or HV systems.
• Knowledge of HV components, insulation and power electronics.
• Experience with electrical design, calculations and testing.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high voltage power supplies and HV systems.
• Produce schematics, calculations and technical documentation.
• Take HV designs from concept through testing and manufacture.
• Carry out HV testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
