Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited in Bristol is seeking four Site Managers to lead an accelerated retrofit and cladding replacement programme across four high-rise residential blocks. Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital works and larger scale projects through subcontract/supply chain arrangements.
• Experience managing multiple projects, including works to mid and/or high rise, high risk buildings: external Façade systems, roofing, fire remediation and protection systems, structural works, groundworks, concrete repairs, internal refurbishment.
• Extensive end to end site project management experience in a similar environment.
• Pre-construction and construction experience.
• UK driving licence.
• SMSTS and sound knowledge of safe systems of work.
• Scaffold inspection competency.
• Role appropriate CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams and works partners.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.
• Lead and monitor project strategies to support the company's sustainability objectives.
• Identify and manage commercial risk.
• Build excellent relationships with client representatives, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Develop strong relationships with the supply chain.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain high quality site staff.
• Provide technical support and advice to the client and project team.
• Ensure a robust strategy is in place for managing complaints and defects.
• Drive quality throughout the project lifecycle, with zero defects as the target on handover.
