Job summary

NEP Group seeks a Guarantee Vision Engineer to lead the design, configuration and delivery of vision systems for outside broadcasts and flypacks in the UK. You will own systems end-to-end, from concept through live delivery, ensuring reliability and high performance in SMPTE ST 2110/IP environments.

The role requires hands-on engineering leadership on-site, collaboration with production teams, and a focus on fault diagnosis, system performance, and continuous improvement across live broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience owning vision systems for OB trucks and flypack projects.
• Strong knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110, IP-based production, and networked production environments.
• Ability to lead on-site during live productions with clear technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of vision systems from concept to live delivery.
• Design, configure, and validate vision systems for OB trucks and flypack projects.
• Produce and maintain engineering docs and build records.
• Lead integration across vision, replay, audio, and comms systems.
• Mentor engineers and drive reliability improvements.
