Job summary

ICP Search is seeking a senior Guarantee Vision Engineer in the United Kingdom. You will own and optimise complex vision chains for OB trucks and flypack productions, spanning traditional SDI and IP-based workflows.

Lead technical delivery, testing and monitoring on live broadcasts, ensuring seamless integration with control, replay and audio systems. Strong ownership, planning and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience operating as a Guarantee Vision Engineer in outside broadcast or live production.
Strong practical knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 and IP-based workflows in broadcast.
Solid understanding of broadcast networking including PTP and multicast.
Experience configuring and supporting broadcast network switches.
Proven ability to manage complex vision chains and system integration.
Knowledge of broadcast control and monitoring systems.
Advanced fault-finding skills in time-critical live environments.
Ability to take ownership of a full system or production, not just a single part.

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of vision systems across OB trucks and flypacks from prep to live delivery.
Design, configure, test and validate complex broadcast systems ahead of productions.
Engineer and support cameras, CCUs, vision mixers, routers and related gear.
Work across hybrid SDI/IP and networked production environments.
Configure and troubleshoot broadcast network infrastructure (PTP, multicast, redundancy).
Support broadcast control, orchestration and monitoring systems.
Lead integration of vision with replay, audio, comms and broader tech.
Act as senior technical point of contact during live productions.
Diagnose faults quickly in high-pressure live environments.
Collaborate with production teams, clients and engineers; mentor others.
