Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor in Salisbury to lead a small team and deliver cemetery and grounds services across sites in and around the city. The role emphasizes practical grounds maintenance knowledge, leadership and strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifying candidates should have grave digging experience, a COTS qualification and a full UK driving licence. Standard hours are 37 per week (Mon–Fri, 7am to 3:15pm) with an hourly rate of £13.80 to

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in grounds maintenance and cemetery work.
• Experience with excavation and mini digger operations.
• COTS qualification and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a two-person team delivering grounds maintenance and cemetery services.
• Plan and monitor daily tasks, quality, productivity and completion.
• Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf clearance and seasonal works.
• Operate a mini digger safely for grave excavation and related tasks.
• Maintain records, liaise with clients and site representatives, and ensure safety compliance.
