Job summary

Woodlodge in Tetbury is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to lead the day-to-day creative output of the in-house Design team while remaining hands-on across packaging, catalogues, POS and digital content.

You will own the design workflow, filter briefs, set priorities, and allocate work to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. Collaboration with Sales, Product and Category teams is essential to translate commercial needs into compelling visuals.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding a design team and mentoring designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout and visual storytelling.
• Experience taking concepts from brief to final delivery.
• Comfortable leading a small creative team and setting priorities.
• Strong knowledge of print production and large-format graphics.
• Experience with retail or consumer-brand design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day creative output and workflow of the Design team.
• Filter and prioritise incoming design briefs; allocate work across the team.
• Develop concepts and designs for packaging, catalogues, POS, exhibitions and digital content.
• Provide clear direction and feedback to designers and artworkers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Category teams to translate requirements into briefs.
