Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Principal GPU Compiler Engineer in Cambourne to lead GPU compiler software architecture and the end-to-end compiler pipeline. You will work with driver and hardware teams to implement new APIs, optimize performance and power, and ensure milestones are met.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in industry, strong C/C++ and LLVM experience, and a track record in compiler optimization and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of industry experience.
  • BS, MS or PhD degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related majors.
  • Hands-on knowledge / experience on C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on knowledge / experience on state-of-the-art compiler optimization / transformation techniques.
  • Hands-on knowledge / experience on LLVM.

Responsibilities

  • Define GPU compiler software architecture and interfaces.
  • Development/implement GPU compiler pipeline, linking and various optimizations / transformations.
  • Collaborate with Driver team, HW team to implement new API & HW features.
  • Collaborate with Driver team, HW team to improve/tune performance & power consumption.
  • Execute & deliver to meet milestones/schedules.
  • Analyze and debug code generation issues.
  • Analyze and influence future GPU architectures.
  • Construct reliable & trustable relationships across teams internally & externally.
