Job summary

Bromley by Bow Health Partnership is seeking an experienced General Practice Pharmacist to integrate into the GP team in Barnet. You will lead the practice-based pharmacy service, coordinate medicines optimisation and provide clinical leadership across the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires substantial GPhC registration, NHS pathway training or an equivalent, and experience in General Practice. The post supports professional development within a collaborative training environment.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent.
• Clinical Pharmacy Diploma or NHS Pathway training for PBPs.
• Independent prescriber registration.
• Leadership or education qualifications desirable.
• Mandatory General Pharmaceutical Council registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train less experienced pharmacy professionals.
• Provide clinical pharmacy leadership for the practice.
• Deliver structured medication reviews and medicines optimisation.
• Coordinate repeat prescribing and medicine reconciliation.
• Collaborate with GPs, PBPs, and the wider team.
• Support remote care and patient-facing services where needed.
