Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a General Builder to join our team and help restore residential properties after pollution incidents. The role involves leading on-site teams, applying a range of construction skills, and working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects meet high standards.

You will be involved in bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage, and other tasks, with travel to various project sites and a strong emphasis on safety and HAVS/PPE practices.

Qualifications

• Construction professional with multi-skilled experience and ability to lead site activities.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities.
• Clean driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site teams to deliver projects efficiently and to high standards.
• Apply multi-skilled construction expertise from bricklaying to underpinning, concreting and drainage.
• Operate machinery such as mini diggers and dumpers while prioritising safety with PPE/HAVS controls.
• Travel to project sites and work closely with Project Managers.
