Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions is seeking a General Builder to join our on-site teams, delivering high-standard restoration projects within the insurance and environmental sectors.

You will lead and coordinate multi-skilled crews, performing bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage, and more; operate mini diggers and dumpers, mix concrete, demolish and restore residential properties, and travel to project sites while working with Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Must be a construction professional with multi-skilled experience and ability to lead on-site.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities.
• Clean driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and coordinate teams on-site to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Bring your multi-skilled construction expertise to life – from bricklaying to underpinning, concreting, drainage, and more.
• Operate machinery like mini diggers and dumpers
• Mix concrete, demolish, dig, and restore residential properties to their original condition
• Get hands-on with tools, from demolition hammers to jigsaws (we’ve got the latest gear, and we prioritise your safety with PPE and HAVS controls).
• Travel to project sites
• Work closely with our Project Managers

Qualifications
