Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions is seeking a General Builder to join our on-site teams and help restore properties as part of our environmental and insurance restoration work. You will lead multi-skilled crews, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to high standards.

You’ll contribute across bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage and more, operate typical site machinery, and coordinate with Project Managers to plan daily activities.

Qualifications

• A construction professional with multi-skilled experience and ability to lead on-site teams.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities.
• A clean driving license and readiness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teams on-site to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
• Bring multi-skilled construction expertise to life – bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage, and more.
• Operate machinery like mini diggers and dumpers and work with PPE and HAVS controls.
• Travel to project sites and work closely with Project Managers.
