Job summary

Cadent Gas is seeking a Lead Gas Engineer within the Pressure Control & Storage team to safeguard high‑pressure pipelines and critical assets across a wide geographic area. You’ll perform hands‑on maintenance and respond to system alerts to keep the network operating safely.

You’ll conduct inspections, advise third parties on safe working around Cadent assets, and contribute to a multi‑skilled team. This role supports public safety and continuity of gas supply with independent workload

Qualifications

• Experience in pipeline maintenance or mechanical operations.
• Strong understanding of asset maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
