Job summary

Frontier is seeking a Lead Game Designer to lead the design team on its CMS titles, shaping the game vision and delivering high-quality experiences. You will mentor designers, work with the Game Director, and own major features from concept through delivery.

You will drive design quality through playtests, player feedback, QA reporting, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, while prioritising work with Production and maintaining clear design documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead role experience in game design
• Experience mentoring and developing designers
• Deep passion for CMS games
• Campaign design and major feature delivery experience
• Understanding of player psychology
• Strong presentation skills to stakeholders
• Knowledge of game design theories and methods
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Team on an entire project and own major feature areas
• Provide line management to designers including performance reviews and career development
• Collaborate with Game Director to deliver the game vision
• Identify risks, blockers and inefficiencies in projects
• Drive quality via playtests, feedback, QA reports and insights
• Design game features, content and balance systems
• Coordinate with other disciplines to align development goals
• Maintain design documentation and cross-team communication
• Work with Production to prioritise features and schedule work
