Job summary

Frontier Developments is seeking a Lead Game Designer to guide the design team on CMS titles, translate vision into engaging gameplay, and mentor designers. The role blends hands-on design leadership with project leadership responsibilities and collaboration with the Game Director to ensure delivery of the game's vision.

The role involves line management, mentorship, and ensuring high-quality, balanced game content while coordinating with production for feature prioritisation and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams on large projects.
• Strong CMS game knowledge and design leadership.
• Experience in campaign design and systems design.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team on entire project and own design.
• Provide line management, performance reviews and mentorship.
• Work with Game Director to deliver the game vision.
• Identify blockers and manage project risks to keep development on track.
• Drive quality through playtests, feedback, QA, and internal insights.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to align design across development.
