Job summary

Frontier is seeking a Senior Game Designer to lead the creation of engaging, player-first experiences for our creative management simulations. You will take ownership of significant features and collaborate across disciplines to turn ideas into compelling play.

The role supports in-studio or hybrid work (minimum 3 days in the studio) with relocation assistance. Bring deep game design expertise and strong communication skills to drive balanced, addictive experiences across PC and console.

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

We're looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our team and bring their expertise in game design to help create engaging, player first experiences for our creative management simulation titles .

As a Senior Game Designer, you will ta ke owner shi p of significant game features, and work collaboratively with other disciplines to turn great ideas into compelling e xperience s that players love .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Design and iteration of complex game features
• Implementing and refining game content using in-house tools
• Building alignment and understanding of game features with clear verbal and written communication
• Ensuring games systems are balanced using analytical methods and incorporating game telemetry
• Driving quality using playtests, player feedback, QA reporting, and your own insights

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Deep game knowledge across a range of genres
• Strong commercial game design experience throughout the product lifecycle on PC & console
• Solid understanding of player psychology and gamer motivations
• Excellent communications skills; ability to present your ideas clearly in verbal and written form
• Effective collaboration with both team members and external stakeholders

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Good knowledge of simulation and management games
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
• Experience developing tutorials and first-time user flows
• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
