Dignity Funeral Directors is seeking an experienced Funeral Director at Bayswater, London, to oversee funeral operations with care and professionalism. You will guide families from first meeting through to the funeral, ensuring services meet the highest standards.

The role requires knowledge of funeral processes, regulatory compliance, and strong communication. Weekend and on-call work are expected, with support for training and development within Life Services Group.

Formación

• Experience leading funerals and guiding families.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Strong knowledge of funeral processes and regulatory framework.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead funeral services with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Run pre-funeral briefings to keep everything clear and coordinated.
• Take a consultative approach, helping families explore options.
• Collaborate with arrangers, specialists, Funeral Directors and care teams, keeping diary and records up to date.
• Assist with coffin preparation, handling of the deceased, and chapel duties as needed.
• Mentor less experienced team members and participate in training.
• Build relationships with care homes, celebrants and local religious/ethnic groups to support community engagement.
